Giant's Cup? More like a Giant jol!
~ Giant’s Cup Trail, Drakensberg, 26 April-2 May 2022 ~
We did it! We walked 67 kilometres through the Drakensberg.
Looking back on this six-day adventure puts a smile of epic proportions on our face! So many memories were made: sunrise coffees on mountain tops, afternoon dips in freezing-cold mountain rivers, testing our legs on the daily uphills and the pure joy of outdoor immersion.
We had an incredible sighting of a badass bearded vulture around the soaring peaks of Garden Castle and this experience allowed. us to donate R2000 to WildlifeAct for their work with these birds.
